Id like to be one of those writers who talks about themselves in the third person and says they divide their time between two very exotic places…..so lets pretend:

Sarah-Louise lives with twenty seven cats and a poodle. She likes Pilates and knitting. She divides her time between Paris and Milan. Her current boyfriends are Bradley James, Mark Harmon and Dean Cain.ooh and Prince Harry (why not?)…….

My other blog is www.thingsinmyheart.wordpress.com

If  I have to be serious though, I have had M.E since 19th may 2000.  I became housebound four days before christmas 2002 and bedbound chrismtas 2003. Got out of bed again in late 2010 and spend at least some of every day up these days!

    Hi Sarah-Louise,

    David here from 74,

I really like your poems and I’m not just saying that. Some remind me of Bob Dylan, one of my favourite songs by him is “Dignity”.

My personal favourite of yours is The Garden…All the problems of the Garden but actually it is simply beautiful. Perhaps a good metaphor for the bigger world we live in.

I admire your ability to see through the darkness, rising up and leveling out in simplicity.

    See you soon for tea.

..by the way I can give you a loan of a book about how to fly. Text books but interesting.

    Hello Sarah-Louise,
Just clicked on a link labled ‘Life is uncertain, eat dessert first’ (a better sentiment I’ve never heard) that caught my eye which landed me on your latest post, Theda.
It made me cry. It just expresses so succinctly the (in)balance of despair and hope felt living with M.E. sometimes it’s hard to believe you’re not alone and then you find something like this. Thank you.

P.S. I hear Paris is lovely this time of year 😉
